About the Role
We are looking to recruit experienced, qualified and AHPRA registered Community Nurses servicing our North- and South Brisbane catchment areas.
Typical duties may include:
- Delivering individualised clinically based nursing care such as wound care, catheter care, PEG changes / care, bowel care and medication management to customers within their own home environment
- Conducting nursing assessments, developing care / support plans & doing home visits
- Supporting, mentoring and delivering clinical training to our teams of Support Workers in the community
- Providing clinical nursing advice and support to our participants and their families.
About you
Ideally you have gained experience as a Community Nurse working in the disability sector finding great reward in applying your clinical experience and knowledge in your role.
We are eager to interview individuals who are passionate and genuine about helping others within a community setting by providing high quality nursing services that aim at improving our participants daily lives and enriches our remote teams with knowledge and capacity.

- Demonstrated experience in community nursing preferably within the setting of disability- and mental health services
- The ability to continuously demonstrate highly capable and organised Nursing skills
- Experience gained working within a mental health setting highly advantageous

- Excellent electronic documentation and reporting skills

- Confident and capable to work effectively within a team environment and autonomously
Key Selection Criteria
- Hold a Current APHRA registration and be able to provide a copy of your nursing degree
- Current First Aid- & CPR Certificates and Right to Work (provide evidence if applicable)
- Current Australian driver licence (C class with no restrictions) and own a fully maintained, registered and insured vehicle
- Willingness to travel - role does involve driving and travel between participants residences and areas as required
- Experience in a community or similar setting would be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in catheter care & changes, wound care, PEG management, chronic & complex care and documenting care plans
