Experienced HC / MC Driver

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced truck driver to join our team in New South Wales. The successful candidate will play a vital role in our operations, transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations across the region.

                 Key responsibilities:

·        Transport goods to various destinations across Australia, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation. Deliver single trailer consignments into Sydney & Queensland (General, Market, chilled and frozen)

·        Manoeuvring heavy vehicles into loading, unloading positions.

·        Compliance with all safety regulations when loading and unloading heavy motor vehicles including compliance to company CoR (Chain of Responsibility) requirements.

·        Carry our routine vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe to drive.

·        Provide exceptional customer service & company representation.

·        Single loads only towing a variety of quad axle refrigerated vans ( 26Plt-28Plt)

·        Minimum of 3500klm per week / maximum of 5 500 klim per week

·        Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including trucks and trailers, in compliance with company policies and procedures.

·        Estimating weights to meet load limits and ensure safe weight distribution.

·        Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.

·        Complete required paperwork, such as logbooks and delivery records, including receiving delivery certification.

  Requirements:

·        Current HC License (Minimum of 12 months experience)

·        Proven experience as a truck driver with a clean Driving Record (Report must be no less than 6 months old)

·        Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·        Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects

·        Flexibility to work irregular hours and weekends, as required

·        Ability to pass an Australian Federal Police (AFP Check)

·        Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical (including drug & alcohol

screening)

·        Good attitude and work ethic

·        Driver fatigue Management Certification

  What we offer:     

·        Superannuation benefits at the prevailing statutory rate

·        Above market rate @ 68cents per Klm.

·         Remuneration of $72k per annum.

·        Permanent position for the right candidate

·        If relocating, drivers will be eligible for an additional $5000 bonus after 12 months of service.
