The Campus
OneSchool Global Sydney is nestled in a peaceful cul-de-sac on Gibbons Street in Oatlands. With its charming historic buildings and beautiful gardens, the campus exudes a delightful ambiance. Despite being the largest OSG campus globally, it maintains a cozy small-school atmosphere, serving 328 students from Years 3 to 12.
The PositionWe have an opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Teacher to join our amazing Sydney team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This position will be responsible for running interventions for students, providing program support to teaching staff, and coordinating our student support officers in both our primary and secondary departments from Years 3 to 12.
Skills & Experience
All applicants will need an excellent understanding of the Australian Curriculum and Syllabus, be a NESA registered teacher, and have relevant teaching and tertiary qualifications.
As a Student Support Coordinator you will be skilled in the ability to identify and evaluate student needs, differentiate instruction for students along all parts of the learning spectrum, collect, analyse, and effectively utilise data, create and implement individualised education plans and be able to provide professional guidance to staff.
You will need to be comfortable stepping away from traditional classroom teaching practices, to embrace modern teaching methods and technologies including video conferencing and online resources.
