AddressHooper Medical Centre is seeking a Casual Medical Receptionist to join the team. We are located in a busy shopping complex in the heart of Toowoomba. Hooper Medical Centre is under new management and is currently undergoing some small renovations.
This position will be casual initially with the option to convert to Part Time in the future. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to cover sick and other leave. Saturday cover may be required.
Medical Receptionists play a key role in the successful delivery of care to our patients. Our Medical Receptionists ensure all patients receive excellent service in a professional and caring environment. They are aware that confidentiality is of utmost importance. The Medical Receptionists work collaboratively with GPs, Practice Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, other Medical Receptionists and Management.
General Practice and Best Practice experience essential.
You will be an effective team asset, demonstrating a proactive attitude to all duties and responsibilities as outlined below.
- Opening and Closing Shifts
- Answering and triaging of calls
- Liaising with the Doctors, Nurses and other team members
- Scanning, Emailing and Faxing
- General cleaning of the clinic
- Greeting of the patients in a professional and friendly manner
