Form of workThe Rug Establishment is seeking an experienced & physically capable Sales & Design Executive to join our team on a full-time basis, to work out of our retail showroom and on the road with our Trade customers.
Experience & requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years successful sales experience
- Current driver’s licence required
- Physical fitness & ability to lift & move product (you will be required to lift and move heavy rugs throughout the day)
- Availability for rotational Saturday work
- As this is a career role, you must have full rights to work in Australia
- Strong computer skills
- Qualifications and/or experience in Interior design, familiarity with design software is highly advantageous, though non-essential
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Passion for interior design & an eye for details
Duties & responsibilities
- Seek out new clients & business
- Showcase and make sales of handcrafted luxury rugs to high-end retail & trade customers including interior designers and architects
- Assist in the design of custom rugs with clients
- Preparation of quotes
- Relationship building & follow up with clients on projects
- Work from our gallery style showroom & make visits to clients’ homes and commercial premises
- Visual merchandising duties
