Our Senior Accountant is retiring this year after 17 years with us, and we are looking for someone to look after his client base. If you have experience in meeting with clients face to face and doing their work from beginning to end then we would love to chat with you.
Qualifications & experience
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role in an Australian Tax Practice.
- Knowledge of current accounting software programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Competent in giving taxation advice and explanation of tax structures
- Understanding of MYOB, Xero, Quickbooks BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT
Tasks & responsibilities
- Preparation of Tax Returns for Individuals, Companies, Trusts, Superfunds and Partnerships
- Preparation of Financial Statements
- Preparation of Business Activity Statements
- Liasing with clients
- Not-for-profit and small Audits
- Liaise with ATO, ASIC and third parties on behalf of clients.
