The Position
- Receive, confirm and monitor sales orders to expedite shipments and identify and resolve any delays
- Prepare export documentation and place bookings with carriers
- Liaise with government departments, carriers and suppliers
- Manage and compile bank documentation and Letters of Credit
- Process freight payments to shipping lines and carriers
- Communicate with demand, planning and distribution teams
- Provide exceptional and timely Customer Service by phone and email
To be considered for this role you must demonstrate:
- Proven experience in a similar role - Exporter (local experience)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Well developed Customer Service skills
- Preparation of Export Documentation - L/C's is essential
- Experience in BSM system - preferable/not essential
- Supportive management
