ABOUT THE ROLE
Strong growth within Mainfreight has led to an many opportunities into the supply chain industry within our operations team. As a part of the team, you will be able to build upon business acumen and knowledge, while developing an understanding of the international importing, exporting sea freight and cartage processes. You will also:
- Learn to use the operating system – Cargowise
- Understand freight forwarding operations (Incoterms, sailing services from key regions) and how FAK/groupage shipments work
- Communicate directly with customers, provide ETA’s and advise of delays
- Build relationships with other areas of the Mainfreight team, including our Wharf cartage specialist team
