Export And Customer Service Officer

Virbac Australia has an exciting role for an experienced Export and Customer Service officer to join the commercial business based at Milperra. This role will support and report to the Export Business Manager. 

This position is responsible for the export documentation, forecasting, reporting, order management of Export and private label orders and Customer Service. In this role, you will also coordinate and dispatch consignments to customers, in a prompt manner.

We require a well-mannered, courteous and enthusiastic person with great attention to detail, who is interested in developing within the company.

The key areas of accountability for this role are:

• Raising quotations and confirming stock availability
• Receive, acknowledge, and enter orders into the company's EDI system
• Maintain contact with Production Planner and Production Managers, to ensure timely product availability to fulfill Export and private label orders in the required time frame.
•  Liaise with warehouse, governing bodies, Freight Forwarders and shipping companies for consignment bookings
• Prepare shipping documentation following importing country regulations this includes the document legalization and collection orders.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A strong Customer Service background, with at least 3 years in Export Documentation preferably in the manufacturing environment
• Have the ability to interact with all types of customers and understand the cultural differences.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), including maintaining customer relationships
• Strong attention to detail
• Be well organised, possess the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Have a positive attitude and ability to use initiative
• Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Power point)
