Peerless Foods is a National Food Manufacturer and supplier of oleos, oils, fats, and margarines to National and International markets.
We are currently seeking an EXPORT DISTRIBUTION COORDINATOR(Part Time) for our customer service/distribution department. Suitable candidates will be career focused, possess great communications skills and have the ability and desire to support all aspects of a busy operational business.
Our Customer Service and Distribution Department in conjunction with the Warehousing Department are responsible for processing all sales orders, handling storage and distribution of our products via road, rail and ocean vessels.
Principal Responsibility:
For ensuring all goods are dispatched to overseas markets in a cost-effective manner meeting both local and International Government import / export requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Administer all orders from Export Customers.
- Respond to customer queries regarding delivery of orders & shipping details.
- Provide advice on route selection, and supply freight rates quotes to customers.
- Liaise with Export Manager, re: Customer requirements, pricing, labels etc.
- Liaise with Production Department, re: Manufacture of customer orders.
- Liaise with Credit department, re: Export customer payment of accounts etc
- Monitor movements and location of consignments in collaboration with domestic and overseas agents.
Skills:
Minimum three years' experience in an export environment.
Strong Communication skills.
Strong numeric capability.
Sound Export documentation experience.
