About the role
In our newly created Construction Manager role, your contributions will have a direct impact on our success. You will be responsible for directing and leading construction activities related distribution powerline projects, ensuring compliance to contractual agreements.
Key responsibilities
Management of all delivery resources
Ensuring appropriate tooling, plant and material levels
Provide technical guidance, advice and mentoring to field workers
Achieve budgeted margin on projects
Manage operation activities including scheduling, training
Ensure a safe working condition is present for all employees, contractors and visitors
About You
We are looking for a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to safety, leadership, integrity and innovation. Your qualifications and experience should include:
Minimum 10 years of experience in the ESI in a management role such as Site Manager, Foreman, Supervisor, or Leading Hand
Experience leading a team of Lineworkers, particularly in Live Line Glove & Barrier works
Possess relevant trade qualifications either an Electrical Fitter Mechanic or Distribution Linesman/Jointer
Drivers Licence
Construction White Card
Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Environmental legislation, Codes of Practice, and Standards relevant to the Western Australia
Ability to build a strong team and invest in their growth
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
