About the role:
We are looking for an eager individual to join the Camco team in Canning Vale as a Project/Client Manager for our Machining services.
As the Project/Client Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all facets of general engineering/machining projects within Camco's workshops. This includes engaging with clients, assessing machining, welding, and fitting requirements, generating estimates, preparing condition reports, coordinating subcontractors, and overseeing the works carried out in the workshops.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop competitive quotes based on project requirements, materials, labour, and overhead costs.
- Work closely with leading hands and supervisors to establish production priorities based on customer orders, resource availability, and divisional objectives.
- Preparing condition reports, coordinating subcontractors, and overseeing the works carried out in the workshops.
- Collaborate with other divisions within the organisation to streamline processes and share resources.
About you:
- A strong knowledge of machining, welding and assembly processes is required.
- A Machinist or Fitter Machinist trade certificate with a workshop background.
- Eager to go into the workshop and efficiently organise projects and tasks.
- Strong computer and communication skills.
- A desire for continuous learning.
