Matchmaster Communications is an Australian owned company whose product range includes TV antennas, complex TV distribution systems, data / networking & CCTV solutions.

Matchmaster Communications  is looking for an External Sales Representative to service its growing wholesaler business. Your sales region will include the western suburbs of Melbourne and west Victoria.

Your performance objective will be to proactively generate sales revenue for Matchmaster, whilst building and maintaining excellent relationships with new and existing customers.


Reporting to the Victorian Sales Manager you will

• Strive to achieve agreed Monthly Sales Targets

• Identify and promote Matchmaster Products on all customer visits by understanding customers business and anticipating stated and un-stated needs

. • Actively seek new revenue generating opportunities, by prospecting new clients

.• Plan and manage territory in a manner that will enable visits to all customers

Your success will be measured by 

• Sales (Grow sales of specific product to specific client)

• Customer Satisfaction (Nil Errors & Nil Complaints)

 • Volume of calls

• Outbound Calls success rate measured in orders successfully obtained compared to calls made 

• Order entry productivity measured by number of orders input compared to average


Desired Skills & Experience

It is envisaged that the successful applicant will be out on the road for approximately 90% of the time.

You will have excellent organizational and planning skills and be proactive in building excellent relationships with Electrical Wholesalers and Contractors on your territory.

By using your time effectively, you will prioritise your work to ensure delivery of your objectives.

You will be a go getter .The achievement of revenue targets will stimulate you, as will proving your worth.

Industry experience is preferred but not essential.
