With a reputation as an industry leader in the supply of premium products in the FMCG industry, this company is looking for a driven and motivated External Sales Representative who can maintain and build on an existing customer base, and actively seek new business opportunities across Victoria and Australia.
While the Head office is based on Epping, the role will have the opportunity to explore Victoria and Australia whilst seeking new business opportunities and developing customer relationships. Previous experience in closing deals with a variety of customer bases is required to succeed, including retailers, specialists, supermarkets, commercial establishments and restaurants/food outlets.
Additional responsibilities will include:
● Investigate, qualify and prioritise new business opportunities.
● Meeting with existing customers to expand and strengthen relationships
● Providing outstanding service and exceed customer expectations
● Consulting with customers to understand their requirements and proposing viable solutions
● Meeting and exceeding KPI’s and targets
● Maintain and update customer databases, ensuring accurate and current information.
● Prepare and send sales quotations, proposals, and invoices to clients.
● Work to achieve agreed sales targets, generating business through face to face appointments, networking and other prospecting events.
About you:
● A proven track record of delivering outstanding sales results combined with exceptional customer service
● Highly developed sales, influencing and relationship building skills/experience to identify and convert new prospects
● Previous experience in closing deals with a variety of customer bases including retailers; specialist, supermarkets, commercial establishments and restaurants/food outlets
● A strong drive for personal achievement and success.
● Strong computer literacy and knowledge of CRM systems.
● Current Driver's License
