About the Role
Casa Engineering is seeking an experienced, Structural Steel Fabrication Supervisor to join our operations team at our Bundamba Workshop .
We are seeking a Fabrication Supervisor with a strong background in Structural Steel and Plate Fabrication.
Reporting to the Operations Manager , the successful candidate will lead the fabrication workshop team in executing weekly production plans consisting of structural steel fabrication and welding
About You
- A Trade qualified boilermaker /welder
- Extensive experience in structural steel and plate fabrication
- Proficient in planning, organizing, and working to timelines and scheduling
- Self-motivated and Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent leadership skills
Your responsibilities will include
- Supervising and managing the fabrication workshop team
- Checking structural steel for compliance to drawings at various stages of fabrication and welding
- Maintaining effective communication , guidance, and technical direction to the workshop operations
- Optimizing employee utilization and workshop capacity
- Achieving Delivery in Full on time targets
- Ensuring quality standards are met
- Ensuring Zero Harm Targets
