The Role:
DYR are seeking a Fabrication Supervisor to lead our Harvey workshop
Qualifications & experience
- Trade Level Qualification.
- Strong Leadership Skills.
- A passion for continuous improvement.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Strong people management skills.
- Experience managing a team in a fast paced environment.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the DYR Safety Management Plan.
- Carry out random OSH audits on the fabrication workshop.
- Work with QA/QC for NDT testing requirements.
- Allocate tasks to suitably skilled trades.
- Work with Production Planner on upcoming works and resource allocation.
- Assist in the formal inspections and ‘punch lists’ to be prepared during the period leading to completion of individual contracts.
- Ensure personnel are working to the latest revisions of the Drawings and Specifications.
- Perform fabrication checks before welding using the DYR ribbon system.
- Ensure all employees are fit for work.
