Position Overview: Our client is currently seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee multiple assets within their mixed commercial and retail portfolios located in the CBD. This is a unique opportunity to join a reputable organization and play a key role in managing and optimizing the performance of these high-profile properties.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic facilities management plans for the mixed commercial and retail portfolios in the CBD.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance, repairs, and renovations to ensure the properties are well-maintained and operational.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts, negotiating terms and ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Monitor and optimize operational efficiency, energy usage, and sustainability initiatives across the properties.
• Collaborate closely with property managers, leasing teams, and other stakeholders to address tenant needs and maintain high occupancy rates.
• Prepare and manage budgets, tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency preparedness protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in facilities management, preferably within a mixed commercial and retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of managing teams and projects.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement solutions.
