This is a rare opportunity within our maintenance team that is responsible for ensuring longevity for short term and long-term site requirements.Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Repairs to our assets and driving outcomes.
- Ensure the plant maintains the highest level of availability possible to achieve business targets.
- Repairs to facilities and raising minor capital projects to implement site improvements.
- Provide technical support to tradespeople, supervising trades personnel.
- Monitor safe working practices, particularly on electrical work.
- Participate in continuous improvements and problem-solving initiatives.
- Ensure immediate reaction to breakdowns and urgent work.
- Ensure all electrical documentation and schematics are securely retained, updated and maintained as required.
- Qualifications in facilities management or a related discipline or equivalent industry experience
- Engineering qualification or trade background is advantageous.
- A solid understanding of refrigeration particularly with ammonia systems (advantageous), compressed air and steam generation systems maintenance is required.
- Experience in a fast-moving, high volume food manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of Work Orders, Risk Assessments, Maintenance Planning and Scheduling, Design solutions for capital projects
- Basic knowledge in electrical and low / high Voltage systems, Lockout Tag-out procedures and in Safety of Electrical Operations
