As a leading employer in the region, they are committed to delivering top-tier services and fostering meaningful change.The Role:The Facilities Manager will oversee the establishment and upkeep of property and facilities systems, ensuring thorough record-keeping and meticulous document management practices. Their role is crucial in maintaining best practices and meeting all compliance obligations.Key Responsibilities : As the Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be responsible for:
- Guarantee that all facilities, whether owned or leased, are suitable for Community Ventures' activities, such as Ambrose ECEC operations and other social enterprises upon deployment.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements regarding property and facilities management, including the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards.
- Coordinate and oversee facilities-related activities to ensure seamless operations across all services.
- Maintain the register and update and manage site access agreements with relevant parties, including negotiation of terms and conditions.
- Ensure all facilities meet the specific needs of Community Ventures' activities, whether they are owned or leased, such as Ambrose ECEC operations and other social enterprises upon deployment.
- Set up and uphold preferred supplier agreements with providers of facilities-related services, such as cleaning, electrical, plumbing, and others.
- Trade qualifications or equivalent facilities management credentials, coupled with a minimum of 3 to 5 years' pertinent experience in building maintenance and FM service delivery, encompassing planning and prioritization, preferably across multiple sites.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract and contractor management, including service contract procurement, and the ability to cultivate and sustain professional working relationships.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, showcasing a track record of initiative and innovative solutions.
- Proficiency in relevant building standards, such as NSW Codes of Practice, Australian Standards, Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations 2011, Building Code of Australia, etc.
