What this opportunity involves:
As the Facilities Manager, you’ll manage and maintain a property portfolio of our client across VIC, TAS, WA,SA and NT for Australia’s largest telecommunications company.
You’ll have responsibility over site budgets, maintenance and operations, contract services, procurement and finances for a portfolio consisting of commercial and retail properties, inclusive of corporate offices.
An Overview of the role:
- Ensure effective communication with various business lines and stakeholders
- Proactively engage stakeholders to ensure on site client expectations are satisfied
- Build and develop effective client relationships
- Act as the key point of contact for Facilities within the portfolio
- Effectively engage vendors to deliver timely services within budget
- Compliance with vendor procurement processes and JLL best practice
- Manage contracts and continually assess to deliver best value to the client
- Monitor on site financial operations
- Uphold health and safety guidelines, policies and procedures on site
- Recommend continuous improvement opportunities
- 24/7 emergency call support and site attendance may be required
Sounds like you? This is what we are looking for:
- Qualifications in Facilities, Building, Business or related and/or relevant experience in facilities, property management or related
- Experienced working in critical environments
- Knowledge of local OH&S requirements
- Vendor management experience
- Demonstrated ability to interpret commercial contracts
- Strong budget management and financial analysis
- Understanding of technical property elements
- Client focus
