The role:
- Manage the day to day functioning of the PULSE system, problem solve as required, liaise with the program provider to coordinate system upgrades, produce and distribute routine management and operational reports including developing more complex ad-hoc reports as required.
- Provide timely support to facilities maintenance staff for the procurement of consumable and supplies and time critical equipment, including procurement of goods and services in accordance with State Government policies, guidelines, and instructions.
- As required develop and assess responses to quotations and manage minor maintenance contracts for services.
- Collate information on assets, plant and equipment and update information in the Asset Information Management System, including input and ongoing management of maintenance schedules.

The Team:
- Facilities Management and engineering services are a small team located at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
- The Facilities team consist of both Trades and administration staff providing Maintenance services to the Southern region of Tasmania.
Details of Appointment
Permanent full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $79,529 to $91,517 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
