Summary
As Project Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of assigned projects in compliance with Airservices policies, procedures and guidelines. A Project Manager manages, coordinates, directs and oversees the development of projects or a set of related projects and activities in order to deliver outcomes and enable benefits related to the organisation’s strategic objectives.

The Role & The Team
As a Facilities Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering project outputs in accordance with scope, quality, cost and time constraints for the organisation. You will apply a standard industry approach and be accountable for the full project life-cycle including planning, execution and close. You are accountable to the Head of Facilities and Property and have overall and ongoing responsibility for the successful day-to-day leadership of Facilities Projects.
This role will require experience in the delivery of projects and people leadership. Though your experience in the relevant field, you will have demonstrated experience in project management and practical knowledge of working with industry frameworks in an organisational context.
You will form an integral part of the Airservices leadership teams; work within and maintain a high-performing and accountable team; and continue to deliver Airservices record of safety, environmental, WHS, risk and compliance excellence.
You will be required to:
- Lead Facilities Projects and define a project management plan including, but not limited to, scope, quality, schedule, resource, cost, risk, issues and opportunities, stakeholder engagement and communications and governance and assurance against the approved baseline.
- Deliver against the project management plan and baseline and monitor actual progress and cost to date and forecast accurately progress.
- Drive overall performance of the Project including monitoring of scope, cost, schedule, risk, issues, opportunities, dependencies, stakeholder management.
- Manage contractors and support all Facilities Managers as required to deliver to the project requirements and apply you experience in contract management.
- Promote a learning organisation through the ongoing continuous improvement and education of key stakeholders.
- Manage the branch within assigned delegations and agreed quality and risk parameters.
- Oversight and manage branch budget and performance targets, including the promotion of an efficient and cost-conscious culture across Project Delivery.

The Person
The successful applicant will have:
- Project management qualifications, with supporting experience
- Demonstrated sound judgement, business acumen and decision making, with a focus on results in a service delivery environment
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict management skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present innovative solutions and influence outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships to facilitate partnerships and cooperation
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience using Project Server, Microsoft Project and/or equivalent scheduling tools
