Your new role
Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Project managing a variety of minor work building projects in existing facilities including (but not limited to) internal renovations, asset upgrades, ESM, and bathroom renovations
- Liaising with Government stakeholders, external consultants, subcontractors, and internal clinical staff members
- Developing business cases, project deliverables, tender evaluations, budgeting through to delivery
- Managing variations and ongoing project risks & OHS requirements
- Assist with evacuation planning and fire service requirements
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Qualifications in Engineering, Building & Construction, Facilities Management or Project Management
- Demonstrated experience and exposure to managing minor building projects
- Experience in a similar role in Government, healthcare, hospitals or aged care is highly desirable but not necessary
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills & motivation to learn and adapt when required
- Current driver's licence - ability to travel between sites when necessary
