About the Role
The Faculty Operations Officer provides efficient high-level contract support for the Faculty of Health (FOH) and will be an integral part of the Faculty Operations team. The Faculty Operations Officer will be the first point of contact for email and phone communication from casual academic staff in the faculty and will ensure the enquiries are responded to efficiently and effectively.
This role will ensure accurate, timely and appropriate responses to the varied demands in its interaction with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. This includes, but is not limited to, responding to potential staff enquiries in a timely matter and with a high level of accuracy. This role is primarily responsible for casual academic contract administration and related processes. Additional responsibilities include mandatory training compliance tracking and faculty contract and recruitment support.
As the ideal candidate, you will possess:
• Demonstrated ability to execute complex tasks with a focus on accuracy and excellent attention
to detail, especially while under pressure
• High-level problem-solving skills, and an ability to juggle competing priorities
• Ability to use discretion, initiative and judgment, particularly when dealing with matters of a
confidential nature
• Good oral, written and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and build
positive relationships and rapport with a diverse range of people and organisations
• Demonstrated high level of computer literacy with ability and willingness to embrace new
technologies, develop and use reporting capabilities and identify opportunities for systems-based
process improvements
Remuneration
Base Salary: $80,044 to $91,570 pa (HEW 5)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
