AddressGigliotti Lawyers is a small General Practice suburban law firm based in Moorabbin seeking to fill the position of a full time or part-time Lawyer with a focus on Family Law. An opportunity is available for an experienced lawyer able to manage their own files without supervision.
In this role you will be required to undertake work in many areas of law but with a particular focus on all aspects of Family Law including divorce and separation matters, parenting disputes and children's matters, binding financial agreements, mediations, matrimonial/de facto property settlements and related intervention orders proceedings.
We are seeking a lawyer with past experience to work independently and run files on their own with minimal supervision.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will require:
- The ability to manage your own files, draft documents and conduct client interviews;
- experience attending Court, including instructing appropriate Counsel;
- have strong technical, communication and problem-solving skills;
- have an unrestricted Victorian Practising Certificate;
- experience in use of LEAP Legal Software preferred but not essential;
- Some experience in general law matters preferred.
