Reporting to the Head of Design, our Design Assistant supports the Design team with range creation, research, development, sourcing new fabrics/vendors, and range launches.

The Role
- Supporting the Head of Design with creating new swimwear ranges for Seafolly
- Producing range books for each season, assisting with range releases and campaign shoots.
- Carrying out research into designs, fashion trends, colours and fabrics.
- Sourcing new fabrics/trims, managing swatches & samples and quality testing to ensure they meet the Seafolly standards.
- Liaising and building relationships with external stakeholders to ensure deadlines and standards are met.
About you:
- Fashion design experience or exposure is preferred, ideally within swimwear or lingerie.
- An eagerness to learn and understand the total design process and strong fashion and creative acumen.
- Proficient in Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong team player, ability to work on own initiative, ability to negotiate and influence and an excellent eye for detail.
- Formal qualification in Fashion Design or related field
