Female Support Workers

All Family Nursing Care (AFNC) is a nurse practitioner led NDIS provider specialising in forensic and complex mental health and community nursing services. It is run by a family of nurses who understand about caring.

At All Family Nursing Care we support clients living with a variety of disabilities and our aim is to enable them to reach their full potential and live the life they choose. We create a working environment that enables our team to balance their work and home life and encourages self-care.
Our team of Disability Support Workers provide 24/7 support to clients with complex needs. Duties include personal care, in-home support, community access and domestic assistance within our supported accommodation.
About You
Experince working with teenagers from trauma background
Experience with Complex Disabilities, Mental Health and Positive Behaviours Support Plans is desirable.
Prompting assistance – personal care and managing appointments.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, particularly active listening.

Ability to identify and report client care concerns to management when needed.
To be successful you will have:
Blue Card (or be prepared to obtain one)
Your own car with comprehensive insurance cover and a current driver’s license
Australian Citizen or Australian Visa with work rights
Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (evidence will be required)
The ability to work autonomously
NDIS Workers Screening Check-yellow card (or be prepared to obtain clearance)
NDIS Worker Orientation Module completion (be prepared to complete one-free online)
Current CPR Certificate and First Aid
Qualifications
Experience working with teenagers and participants with complex and challenging disability background is essential
Qualification in Disability is essential
Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
