Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, this role will see you utilising your fabrication skills to offer high-end support to our customers throughout the Hunter Valley region. Our successful candidate will bring extensive light and heavy welding and fabrication experience alongside mine site exposure. A Field Service position with WesTrac will challenge you whilst giving you exposure to a range of work from crack repairs through to machine rebuilds.
The important stuff.. roster & remuneration
- Week One: Monday – Thursday
- Week Two: Tuesday – Friday
- Dayshift only, 12.5 hour shifts
- Potential earnings from $130,000 - $160,000 + tool of trade vehicle + phone + laptop
*Above rates are a guide; each candidate will be assessed on skill and experience
What are we looking for?
- Cert III in Engineering - Fabrication (Australian Trade recognised)
- Experience in OXY/Thermal processes: cutting, heating and thermal lancing
- Proficient in FCAW + MMAW (multiple wire applications needed)
- MDG25/TRG25
- Generic Glencore induction + ability to pass UT
- Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements
- Applicants with site bans are ineligible for Field Service Positions
- Excellent attitude to your work, and dedication to safe work practices
