Your Role
As a Field Service Representative, you will be a part of the Field Service team at Saab Ltd, based in Abu Dhabi UAE. As a FSR you will Service and maintain our Ground based Surface Radars at our customer’ sites.
The work consists of analysis and interpretation of performance data, troubleshooting, repair and swap parts in our radar systems. You will work closely with our customers and Saab support teams.
Your Profile
Preferred graduated Bachelor/Master student and have had experience in Field Service of military systems . An education within software and/or computer engineering is preferred, but not necessary. Ground based Radar experience will be advantageous.
You can plan and lead service and integration. You like to work in teams and solve complex problems with others. You have a personal need of variation and see it as a challenge to face new problems. You will be working in a mobile environment and in shifts to meet the requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven experience within Radar System and RF/MW test and operations
- Proficiency in using RF test equipment and tools
- Understanding of Radar, computer systems and RF principles
- Experience with system testing
- Communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office experience required
- Ability to communicate well with all levels of staff and with customer/other departments
- You must be able to express yourself in English, both oral and in written word
- Driver’s license
This position requires that you undergo a security screening in accordance with the Saab internal processes.
