Role:Field Service Specialist – Cameron Surface Systems
Location: Melbourne VIC
Type of contract: Permanent
Roster: Full Time
Job Description:
Install or repair company products such as wellheads and production trees in accordance with the original equipment manufacturing standards to minimize the customers down time and maximize the customers satisfaction. Advise customers on repair and replacement options. Examine, repair, test and maintain products at customer sites or service centres. Be a liaison between Company onshore and customers during installation. Troubleshoot equipment during installation if any problems arise. Contribute to section and department policy and procedure formulation, alteration, deployment, and planning.
In this position, you will be working for Cameron. Cameron is part of the SLB product family and is a leading provider of flow equipment products, systems, and services to worldwide oil, gas, and process industries.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Direct the installation or servicing task to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
- Provide the customers representative with sufficient information and guidance to ensure the correct task completion
- Report faults or areas of improvement which will ensure continued product development
- Assembly and testing onshore and offshore, (including recording of test results)
- Complete Service reports, FPR’s, EWR, EOWR, and other administrative duties associated with the department or project
- General duties associated with the Service task and engineering task
- Ensure all tasks and duties are performed following Company’s HSE policies and guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Mechanical or trade qualification
- Experience working as a Field Service Technician or working with Surface Wellhead Equipment desired but not essential.
- Physically able to complete required tasks
