We are a family-owned service-oriented business that specialises in the sales and service of biomedical equipment across a range of industries including medical, dental, podiatry and veterinary.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Technician to meet the growing needs of the healthcare industry. To be successful in this role, you must possess a proactive attitude, naturally enthusiastic, exhibit professional demeanour with clients and consistently exhibit strong technical proficiency.
Previous experience in the servicing Autoclaves is favourable however not necessary. We are willing to train the right applicant if they have strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
Job Overview
The role incorporates providing exceptional technical, customer and Field Service support to hospitals, aged care, dental, podiatry, veterinary, medical practices and ancillary health. Although this role predominantly services the Perth CBD some regional travel will be involved.
Normal working hours are 8am to 5pm however due to the nature of the work there may be some out of hours work required from time to time. The role will also require to be on a roster for out of hours work.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective, proficient, and timely service according to a preventative maintenance schedule.
- Attending and resolving breakdowns on equipment.
- Provide customers with reports and feedback on their service requests.
- Training customers with Operator Instructions for their equipment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers.
- Maintain accurate inventory of equipment, service parts and tools.
Qualifications and Experience
We are seeking candidates with the following:
- Electrical License – A Grade Electrical License preferred however will also consider Restricted Electrical License (WA).
- Possess sound knowledge of fault-finding techniques.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well on their own and in a team.
- Good standard in computer literacy.
- Current driver’s license.
- Annual Flu Vaccine will be a mandatory requirement as per government regulations.
