Field Support Technician - Desktop Support

Due to multiple ongoing initiatives, APCD have several, immediate start opportunities for IT Field Technicians and/or IT Deployment Technicians in the Adelaide Metro area. 

Level 2 - Desktop Support Field Technician

Role Description

• Experience in providing End User support through a variety of channels including telephone, remote desktop and face-to-face.
• Exceptional Communication skills, working with Customers, Management, Technicians, Vendors etc – in the resolution of software, hardware & network issues.
• Setup and deployment of hardware – specifically end user devices & peripherals.
• Accurately update asset, incident and request details through defined processes and tools
• Maintain awareness and follow all safety processes and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself, your colleges & clients.
• Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
• Basic Network skills

What you'll need to succeed

• End User support expertise and experience with MS Office 365, including MS Teams & SharePoint
• MS AD experience

• Minimum 3 years in working in ICT/End User environment with solid experience in servicing PC's, Printer's, or Networks.
• Demonstrable command of computing, operating systems, applications (work processors, spreadsheets, and databases)
• Outstand Customer Service Skills – including relationship building
• Excellent Time Management Skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Ability to function in a fast paced – deadline orientated environment
• Great Interpersonal skills
• Be a Team player
• Able to work independently if located at client's site
• Strong Attention to Detail
• Be available to work variable hours
• Have a vehicle & license

 The position will require travel across metro areas as well as agreed/planned travel to regional areas. A reliable car and driver’s license is required.
