Australian Camp Services (ACS) is seeking an experienced Village Manger join our team on an expanding camp.
This role will involve:
- Mentoring, coaching & developing a growing and expanding team
- Focus on staff wellbeing, experience and food - due to being an alcohol free camp
- Be responsible for the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations
- Responsible for understanding/ using as required the Site Accommodation Management Systems
- Actively overseeing the success of the contract KPI's
- Build and maintain relationships by way of quality delivery on our scope of services to our clients, residents and stakeholders
- Responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and ensure catering requirements/quality are maintained and met
- Inventory control including stock ordering, stock takes & wastage
- Responsible for administrative tasks such as preparing reports for head office, financial reporting for retail shop & timesheets
- Maintain a safe work environment and actively provide ongoing feedback about opportunities for improvement
- Ensuring and documenting staff awareness and adherence to HACCP, Safety and Environmental practices and procedures
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in the Village Service sector, managing a FIFO camp.
- Chef experience is highly preferable
- Have a comprehensive understanding of hospitality services in a construction village operation
- Strong problems solving skills
- Experience in performance management & appraisals
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate & develop your team
- Effective communication skills at all levels, client facing and internal
- Intermediate computer and tech skills
- Experience in ordering, stock-take and reporting
- Food safety and Hygiene training
- Experience using FIFO accommodation management systems.
