Quinn Allan is partnering with a well recognised professional service organisation who are seeking an Financial Administration Assistant to join on a full time permanent basis. The organisation provides premium professional services to corporations, businesses and governments throughout Australia and internationally. A rare opportunity now exists to join their high performing finance teams as a Financial Administration Assistant.
About The Role
The position of Financial Administration Assistant position works closely with the Finance & Operations team to support the delivery of high-quality administrative support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to day-to-day enquiries and providing assistance to the Finance team
- Ensuring daily processing and payment of creditor invoices are completed in timely fashion
- Managing appropriate authorisation of creditor invoices and cheques drawn
- Reviewing and processing trust payments pertaining to PEXA settlements and processing of trust receipts
- Daily banking, data entry and archiving relating to accounts payable/receivable / controlled monies
- Performing daily bank reconciliations
- Filling in for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or Controlled Monies during periods of annual leave.
To be successful you will be a enthusiastic and driven individual with passion for numbers ideally from a professional services environment.
- Intermediate MS Excel knowledge
- Excellent team player
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to prioritise and meet deadlines is essential
- Strong organisational skills and a high sense of confidentiality and discretion
