The Role This Government Department is seeking a Finance Administrator to support the Accounts Payable team with processing invoices as well as triaging phone enquiries.
Responsibilities
Undertake a range of financial management, purchasing, asset and administration transactional activities
Learn and execute both processing invoices through Kofax as well as triaging phone enquiries from suppliers and internal customers.
Follow up on inquiries explaining rules, procedures and policies to stakeholders on a range of finance, purchasing, asset and administration activities.
Draft routine internal and external reports
Provide a high level of customer service
Required
Experience in providing financial data entry
Ability to regularly plan and track progress on work tasks and to address priority tasks first.
Ability to clearly explain information and actively listen and respond to feedback.
Demonstrated ability to prepare letters, emails and reports
