As the Finance Analyst – Traffic and Revenue, you’ll be part of the source of truth, for all this traffic performance and revenue related at Transurban. You’ll be become the Subject Matter Expert for how our assets are performing as well playing a role in preparing the quarterly and annual results for revenue and traffic performance.
The impact you’ll have:
- Develop and manage the reporting of traffic and revenue performance across Transurban’s assets. This includes trend analysis, class mix and anything else you discover to be relevant.
- Create insightful metrics, reports and dashboards.
- Work closely with corporate affairs and investor relations for market releases and provide analysis for investor Q&As.
- Own the budget forecasting process for toll revenue.
- Maintaining accurate information in the databases as well driving the continued development and governance of the central traffic databases.
- Provide forecasts for toll revenue data for long term models and development projects through collaboration with other teams across Corporate Development and Strategy.
The talents you’ll bring:
- Well developed experience within the financial or analytical space will be highly regarded.
- You’ll possess analytical skills with the ability to articulate strategies and tell stories using data.
- Exceptional communication skills, in particular the ability to translate complex technical terms, into easy understandable insights.
- Strong presentation and data visualisation skills.
- Experienced with working with internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to foster relationships and influence as needed.
- Well-developed understanding of data and data structures with the ability to interrogate data. Any experience in SQL and Tableau will be highly regarded.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel. You’ll have ability to run vlookups, create pivot tables, etc.
- Skills and ability to prepare regular reporting material with a high level of attention to detail and demonstrated commitment to quality.
- A genuine interest in utilising data and reports to facilitate an understanding of the business and financials.
- Proactive, self-starter with strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
