About the Role:

As the Financial Business Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of their venues. Working closely with transactional and reporting teams, you'll ensure the smooth delivery of financial data and insights. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing strong business partnering support to venue leadership teams and the Finance Director, offering valuable analytics and insights;
• Preparation of various reports and analysis to assist the business at both operational and executive levels;
• Reviewing venue settlements, payment approvals, and input costs to maintain effective cost control;
• Developing budgets and forecasts in alignment with Group reporting timelines;
• Completing monthly and quarterly P&L results and analysis, reconciling balance sheets;
• Overseeing venue sponsorship and other commercial matters to ensure effective service delivery; and
• Maintaining financial controls, continually reviewing and improving business processes.

Your Background:

Our client is seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

• Tertiary qualification in a related discipline, along with an accounting qualification (CA, CPA);
• 4-5 years of experience in an accounting role, with exposure to finance business partnering;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Advanced Excel skills;
• Strong ability to identify inefficiencies and improve processes;
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and navigate sensitive situations; and
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with all levels of management.
