ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking two (1x ongoing, 1x non-ongoing) driven team players who enjoys working in a rapidly evolving environment. Reporting to the Management Accountant, these roles act as the key point of contact and support for a division(s) finance related activity including timely and insightful reporting and advice to assist with decision making.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- ownership of budgetary planning, forecasting and monthly reporting process for relevant division(s)
- co-developing business cases for investments and initiatives, developing a detailed understanding of financial implications of proposed changes
- identification and implementation of revenue opportunities/cost savings as part of transformation support within the organisation
- supporting your team, managing resources and balancing competing priorities to deliver timely and accurate results
- establishing and maintaining effective working relationships to act as the key point of contact for finance related activities.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this position, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis and/or equivalent experience in management consulting
- Ability to hold partners accountable to performance metrics and budgets, while providing support to identify and mitigate risk
- Demonstrated experience partnering with and presenting to senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience using financial systems (e.g. TechnologyOne)
- Knowledge of the PGPA Act, PGPA Rule
- Advanced Excel skills and a pragmatic approach to producing revenue/cost analysis under tight timelines
