The Finance Business Partner role proactively delivers accurate, relevant, and timely financial information to C.H. Robinson’s various stakeholders. They will assist with the financial reporting process, perform financial analysis, and play a critical role in partnering with business to provide required financial insights. This role demands mature partnering mindset and capability with strong attention to detail and a solution-oriented approach to tackle roadblocks and ensure operational excellence and a commitment to best practice. The Finance Business Partner requires strong accounting technical skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provides coaching and support to less experienced team members
- Understands and is able to apply accounting principles and policies and stays up to date with changes
- Analyzes branch revenues and expenses to provide insights to branch managers & other key business stakeholders to improve on organizational financial acumen
- Ensuring financial close at month and year end, oversight over statutory compliance & tax, financial audits, and tackling technical accounting tasks as required
- In-depth analysis of financial data, building budgets and forecasts, and leveraging business intelligence reporting
- Supporting acquisitions & business growth cases to provide required financial analysis & models to the business stakeholders at request
- Financial control and risk management to create effective mitigation plans
- Assists with audit requests
- Apply accurate accounting treatment on complex business scenarios
- Coordinates accounting matters with business
- Continue to drive improvements and efficiencies, able to plan & deliver changes independently
- Initiates and lead team meetings, workshops with business and deliver learning workshops for all staff
- Analyse balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial documents that project the organization's financial position
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements
Required:
- CA/CPA Qualified
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
- Advanced data analytics skills with excel
- Experience working in complex large matrix finance organization
- Strong growth mindset, solution driven
- Experience with Oracle Financials Cloud and other cloud-based Oracle solutions
- Experience in data modeling
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics
- Ability to act and operate independently to accomplish objectives while taking accountability for work product
- Ability to work within a team and liaise well across departments and functions
