About the Role
You will partner with the key stakeholder within our e-commerce space. As customers' needs and the retail landscape are changing, our Online business is key to Coles' future success and in this role, you will work at pace alongside the Commercial and Operations team to support the strategic growth agenda and drive value creation. This is a rapidly growing area of the business and you will have the opportunity to work on invitate projects. You will also;
- Ownership of business unit P/L, preparation and reporting of monthly financial performance, assisting business leaders in meeting their set budgets & targets
- Lead business and Finance management through forecasting & planning cycles (annual budgets & corporate plan)
- Influence business leader decision making with fact-based insightful and innovative analysis, including for new product launches
- Lead and be involved in key FP&A activities
- Identify and implement continuous improvement, by automating and simplifying financial processes and analysis
About you and your skills
We are looking for a passionate Finance Business Partner that understands the value of harnessing strong commercial relationships a You will also;
- CA/CPA or similar business qualification or near with commercial awareness and business focus
- Experience in the Retail or FMCG sectors will be highly regarded, alternatively a big 4 or mid-tier environment
- FP&A experiecnce
- Proven experience in preparing, understanding and analysing financial information to identify business opportunities/challenges and recommend course of action
- Proven ability to challenge & influence key business stakeholders (finance and non-finance) to achieve best for business outcomes
- Experience of presenting financial information concisely which focuses on drawing out insight
- Experience of owning end-to-end planning process
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation with a focus on commercial partnering
- Highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written (email, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
- System literacy; experience of developing dashboards in PowerBI or similar desirable
