The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial finance professional to join a large, well-known and profitable retail business.  Culturally, the business is considered an employer of choice due to its great internal culture and exceptional training and development.  The business is looking for a talented finance professional with a skill-set that combines financial modelling, revenue and cost analysis and commercial business support.
The Challenge
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will take a proactive role in identifying new opportunities to improve revenue or reduce costs, assessing project financial outcomes and benchmarking operational performance.  
Specifically your responsibilities will include: 

• Identifying and developing key commercial business improvement initiatives
• Financial analysis and evaluation of project-based investment opportunities on emerging innovation and corporate development opportunities
• Analyse key business drivers to develop commercial insights that enable the business to deliver improved performance
• Preparation of business cases and associated financial assessments
• Planning, budgeting and forecasting 
• Work with senior leadership to assess performance against strategic goals
• Assist with ad-hoc business reporting to drive decision making

The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• You are CA / CPA qualified and have several years of post qualification experience in industry, ideally in a large corporate
• You possess extensive experience in Finance Business Partnering with other operating divisions in a business 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to present to Senior Executives both finance and non-finance stakeholders effectively
• Experience of partnering with a technology division will be looked upon very favourably
