DV Safe Phone is a not-for-profit charity established in 2020 providing ‘Safe Phones’ to victims of domestic and family violence Australia-wide.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated part-time (minimum 25 hours per week) Operations Coordinator to oversee the crucial aspects of our day-to-day operations including the receipt, testing, and dispatching of mobile phones, as well as the management of our valuable team of volunteers.
Key responsibilities:
- Operations Oversight: Supervise the daily operations related to the receipt, assessment, testing, and dispatching of mobile phones to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers who assist in testing and repairing phones, ensuring a productive and supportive environment.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control standards for the testing and repair of mobile phones to ensure they meet our safety and functionality standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of incoming and outgoing phones and supplies to ensure availability and accountability.
- Logistics Coordination: Manage logistics for the smooth flow of mobile phones from donation to dispatch, including shipping arrangements and tracking.
- Data Management: Oversee the collection and management of operational data to support reporting, decision-making, and process improvements.
- Community Engagement: Act as a liaison with community partners and stakeholders to foster relationships and support for DV Safe Phone's mission.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices, including volunteer safety and data protection.
Requirements
- Proven experience in operations management, logistics, or a similar field.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing volunteers or teams.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and inventory management systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective volunteer management and community engagement.
- A commitment to DV Safe Phone's mission and values.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in non-profit organisations or social services (a plus).
- Technical proficiency with mobile devices and basic repair skills (highly desirable).
