About the opportunity
Reporting to the Finance Manager you will support our business in measuring the financial performance of their operations. Primarily responsible for the accuracy of financial record keeping and its presentation and working closely with operations, the role will have ownership of actual results in addition to assisting with budgeting and forecasts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in identifying, developing and implementing efficient processes.
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting and financial policies including J-SOX.
- Completion of revenue and expense accruals, prepayments and provision journals.
- Provide a quality and timely service to the business in respect to financial reporting and commentary, decision support, financial planning and budget control.
About your experience
With a degree in commerce, business or accounting you will hold CA or CPA qualifications. The successful applicant will ideally be proficient in Oracle FMS along with exposure to other applications such as Kronos, Preceda and Maximo being highly regarded.
Skills and experience will include:
- Significant experience of building and maintaining relationships.
- An ability to develop and maintain financial modelling and analysis tools.
- Results orientated approach with the ability to take direct action in order to attain or exceed objectives.
- An ability to manage competing demands, solve problems and make appropriate decisions in relation to the dimensions of the role.
- Demonstrated business improvement and continuous improvement skills.
Ultimately, you will be a values-driven team player with strong attention to detail, along with highly developed organisational skills and a proven ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines.
