In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate closely with various stakeholders across the organisation to devise and execute strategies aimed at realising both short-term gains and long-term financial objectives for the business.
Reporting into an impressive manager, and alongside a finance team full of high performing employees the Finance Business Partner plays a pivotal role in providing financial leadership to wider business. This role is instrumental in delivering timely and accurate financial information to support effective decision-making and business operations.
- Prepare and provide monthly and annual accounts for the business units.
- Partner with key stakeholders to drive financial insights, support strategic planning, and ensure operational and financial excellence.
- Drive financial planning processes, including quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term strategic planning.
- Liaise with the commercial team and management to interpret financial results and support monthly reviews.
- Lead analysis of operating performance and provide guidance on implications for future performance.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting tools, as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
To be considered for this position, you must be a fully qualified accountant (ideally trained within a large professional services firm) You will be technically strong and have the interpersonal skills to build relationships with non-finance stakeholders. Retail/FMCG experience would be highly advantageous.
