Our client seeks an adept Financial Controller to enrich their team in Brisbane. As an integral member of our Management Team, the Financial Controller will uphold the integrity, efficiency, and strategic alignment of financial functions within their organisation.
This role entails spearheading efficient operations, ensuring precise financial reporting, and fostering strategic financial planning to propel their company's growth and sustained success.
Oversee day-to-day finance department operations with a hands-on approach
Supervise Accounts Payable and Receivable
Manage budgets, forecasts, and taxation
Ensure compliance with financial regulations
Identify business efficiencies and improvements
Measure company performance against benchmarks
Work with executive leadership on projects and provide comprehensive strategic reporting
Drive process automation with the ERP systems (Netsuite) and enhance financial reporting models
Lead month-end close processes and manage cash flow and banking reporting
More about you and what you'll need to bring to thrive:
Proven experience in a similar financial leadership role
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. MBA, CA, or CPA preferred
Proficiency in systems automation and process improvement
Knowledge of GAAP and other regulatory requirements
A capacity to contribute value to strategic business objectives while remaining hands-on
Strong attention to detail and professional acumen
Be accountable and resolution focused
