Reporting to the CFO, this position will provide financial leadership and execute robust financial management strategies to support the growth and development of the organisation. The role will lead the implementation of sound financial systems, policies, procedures, and improvement processes, both within the Finance team and individual business units across the organisation. Responsibilities include:
- Lead and provide effective performance management of the finance team.
- Provide effective management of finance functions including funding, acquittals, debtors, creditors, asset management and payroll.
- Oversee the functions of a multi-cost centre environment, including but not limited to budget preparation and variance analysis; forecasting; business analysis and grant acquittals.
- Preparation of monthly statutory accounts.
- Provide effective business partner support to support sound operational performance.
You will be CA/CPA qualified with proven experience in a financial leadership role, preferably with a combination of commercial and for-purpose sectors. You will possess excellent staff development, mentoring, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. You will be a pragmatic thinker, with sound problem-solving skills and proven effectiveness in systems review and improvement.
