Our reputable & well established client whom specialises in the manufacture & distribution of an innovative range of automotive treatments and service equipment is currently on the lookout for an experienced Finance Manager to join their friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established business within an interesting role that is pivotal to the organisations success as well as diverse in duties with support from a great team.
There is flexibility for this position to either be full-time or part-time (32 hrs pw+) to suit the successful candidate's needs so please make sure to outline your availability in your cover letter and preferred working hours.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Overview and management of full general and subsidiary ledgers
- Full end of month reports for Australian and UK entities including consolidations
- Preparation of FBT, BAS, and payroll returns
- Preparation of year end and annual financial statements for company and parent company and assisting external accountants with tax calculations and returns for Australia and UK
- Foreign currency accounting and inter-company accounting
- Assisting with company secretarial functions
- Overview and review of UK financial operations (VAT returns / HMRC reporting requirements)
- Analyse, advise and report on all aspects of the business to management and staff
- Corporate insurance maintenance and renewals
- Advise on stock control & reporting issues including internal stock take reviews
- Management of finance team staff
- MYOB Advanced system administrator
- Management of IT systems including reporting systems implementations and upgrades
- Overseeing employment process, including recruitment, onboarding and training
- Identifying continual improvements to the company's ISO-9001
- Attendance and minute taking at board and management meetings
- Other accounting and reporting duties as directed by company
- 5+ yrs Finance Manager / Accounting experience within a similar role
- Degree qualified with CPA / CA
- Experience within a manufacturing environment well regarded
- Excellent understanding of stock management
- Experience with MYOB Advanced / MYOB Exo highly regarded
- Experience with Management of IT Systems / IT Savvy
- Understanding of HR legislative laws
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Well organised with strong attention to detail & excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong time management skills with ability to prioritise deadlines
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Suite (Excel in particular)
- Strong interpersonal & people management skills - looking after a small accounts team
- Professionally presented with excellent communication skills - Written & Verbal
