About the Opportunity
You will take ownership of a wide rangeof tasks including regulatory reporting to APRA, group reporting,reconciliations, AP, tax and a number of strategic initiatives. Reporting tothe Head of Financial Reporting, key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for weekly, monthly andannual financial reporting
- Responsible for reviewing and managingreconciliations, AP, tax, month end processes and other financial reportingobligations
- Drive strategic projects within thefinance department, and Bank wide, to drive efficiency and commercial outcomes
- Coach and develop other members of thefinance team and be a key person in driving efficiency across the financefunction.
About You
We are seeking someone who has thefollowing qualifications, skills and experience:
- Finance/Accounting Degree (or relateddiscipline)
- 5 + years’ experience in withinAccounting/Finance, preferably in financial services/audit
- Experience in coordinatingexternal/internal audit
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiationskills
- Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills
