We provide products and services to over 150 Companies/Contractorsfor both underground and surface drilling in the Global Mining & Construction industries.We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join our team and to providefinancial and administrative duties and responsibilities in managing day to day financial andaccounting activities. This is a full-time (38 hours per week) permanent role. Annual salaryranges from $90,000 to $109,999 relevant to your qualification and demonstratedexperience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Examining the costs and income structure of the Australian branch, providing themanagement with financial and strategic support to assist in decision-making.
- Formulating financial forecasts and business plans for accounting purposes.
- Managing financial budgets and cost performance, allocating branch funds, and definingfinancial objectives in relation to cash flow management.
- Directing the preparation of budgetary reports, cash flow forecasts, monthly profit and lossanalysis reports, quarterly financial statements, and any other reports required from theManagement and HQ.
- Support in establishing accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company's targetsand statutory requirements.
- Overseeing daily transaction performed by accounts staff.
- Assist and attend the Internal and External Audits to ensure compliance, financial andstrategic governance, and create the proper reports if needs.
- Acting as the key interface between the sales team, Administration Division at HQ and allrelevant internal divisions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial and accounting principles, standards, andregulations.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, with experience in implementing financialsystems.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
