Job Responsibilities:
This role combines the responsibilities of finance management with office administration where you will oversee day to day financial operations while managing the administrative functions of the office.
Finance:
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments and collections.
- Oversee daily cash management and monitoring.
- Act as a liaison with the Director regarding financial transactions and bank approvals.
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Manage all aspects of financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Liaise with the accountant to prepare end-of-year accounts.
- Alert General Manager (and where necessary Director or Strategic Advisor) of any issues which may arise from time to time.
Administration:
- Support HR activities, including payroll processing, employee onboarding, and benefits administration.
- Supervise office operations, including premises, vendor relationships, and office supply inventory.
- Coordinate administrative functions such as answering telephone, managing correspondence, maintaining filing systems and archives.
- Foster a positive office culture by organizing team-building activities and promoting effective communication among staff.
- Attend weekly Director/Management meetings.
